All stores are not equal, Venice is smaller than University which is the best one I have shopped at. They all have great produce, good prices and unique offerings. Space is limited at Venice. Have enjoyed shopping and would hope that they can correct deficiencies as needed.
Local grocery chain, 3 locations with a 4th on the way, with good food and values and GREAT people. Sometimes a little light on Organics on the “Dirty Dozen” annual list, but they do a good job overall and I appreciate supporting local family/community. Example weekly flyer promos below. Added bonus, they also give back to the community in numerous ways!
Great, but very crowed sometimes. Food is fresh, often very fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Not a full-blown supermarket- you might not find everything on your shopping list. Has unusual fruits and vegetables and fish that are fun to explore. The bananas always seem to go bad more quickly than Publix bananas, but they are usually about 10 cents cheaper. The fish is very fresh and varied. Lots and lots of produce, often priced very low. Very friendly staff. There is a Big Olaf ice cream counter in the store, which is really, really good ice cream. The express lanes over to the right move very much faster than the regular lanes.
Best place to shop! Excellent place for fish and Seafood... They just got a new Deli counter by Boar's Head. You can't beat the prices and the customer service is warm and wonderful. They always have the best citrus and great produce quality overall, not to mention a unique variety of foods. My husband and I I love the flats of brown cage-free eggs for $3.99. Happy shopping!
I can't begin to say how amazing this place is! Friendly staff, great products, and an amazing ice cream selection! Be aware the smell of fresh made bread, cookies, and other baked items will entice you from the moment you enter the store. Also, the teams behind each counter are friendlyand knowledgeable, making shopping fun! You must try the corn cob bacon!
