Have purchase wine here for a long time. I live in West Palm Beach but come to Sarasota to see family, love to stop in and browse. I always find great wines at really good prices, owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I recently purchased a six pack of Parsons Flat, 2004 from one of his customers personal cellars at his recommendation. I opened two bottles and both were corked, UGH. I called the owner, explained the issue, he immediately stood behind my sale, and made things right. I highly recommend this wine shop, the owner is all about customer service. I will absolutely be back.
I love this store. Great wine prices and reasonable selection although few high-end wines. Meat is a little pricy but i think you get what you pay for. The baby back pork ribs are spectacular. As an aside they carry the full line of Green Eggs and accessories....and deliver!
Disappointed. For New Years dinner I wanted a couple of good prime rib steaks (Delmonico). I asked for two 2 inch thick steaks. I did not see them get wrapped. New Years day I had to cook up two 1 1/2 inch Delmonico's. I assume they just gave me pre-cut meat, not cut to order. (yes, a half inch did make that much of a difference).
Wonderful locally owned butchers shop in an unassuming location. A coworker recommended the Butcher's Block and I frequently pass on that recommendation. I don't think I've ever been to a butcher. I've always gone to the grocery store until I decided the quality and care of the meat I purchased was important to my health. The staff is knowledgeable. They always patiently answer my novice questions. And the wine selection is fantastic.
