They are HORRIBLE! the officer that I had talked to was so incompetent. I cant believe the people they hire as officers in this city. One incident that happened an officer didn't look in his blind spot to switch lanes and almost hit me!! And he didn't even use a turn signal!! Another incident which I have on film... An officer told me to leave the premises and drink my beer across the street... He is telling me to illegally cross the street with an open container and drink on private property... Whats with these guys..?? Who do I talk to about this?
Sat on phone for 10 min the first time then checked Internet and called all other numbers listed. I just wanted to report an irs scam. Love the police but the person at the front desk was gone for over 20 min. At least put a recording machine on where we could leave a recorded message
I was at the Residence Inn Hotel on university parkway tonight picking up my girlfriend because she had gotten hired to baby sit a boy for a family who was going to a wedding that night. When I arrived I saw two police officers arrive and park in a no parking zone, I was waiting outside the front entrance to where my girlfriend was staying and i was waiting in the middle of the road for about 2 minuets before i moved on and parked in a parking space in front of the main lobby. I was texting on my phone parked in a space waiting for my girlfriend to arrive until I see a horrible bright flash light shine into my car.. I looked up and saw it was an officer and then i looked back down on my phone to look away from the light blinding me. Shortly after I see the flash light next to the window blinding me and the officer knocking on my window. I opened the window and i said "Sir?" and he asked, "Where you just in the lobby?" and i said, "no i havent been in the lobby since the afternoon." He asked me what i was doing and i said, "im just waiting for my girlfriend." Before he asked. "you okay?" Then shining his light back into my car. I said "yes im fine". Then he clicked off his light and walked away with the officer he was with. Keep in mind I hadn't suggested in anyway possible i was involved in whatever happened in the lobby. This officer confronted me for no reason and i felt like i was being interagated. He was a young officer with short black hair and brown eyes and it look like he had a clean shave. I didn't quite catch what the other officer had looked like because i was scared to look around.. An awful and rude experience for me. Just a 17 year old kid being treated like this for no reason at all. Sir, i am not okay actually. As i drove home i felt as if i was going to get pulled over for any slight move i did wrong. Why dont you get off your ego and treat citizens with some respect.
Been trying to reach this department ,and for 30 min nobody has answered the phone, this is not acceptable why do we pay taxes for
If they're going to give out tickets for going 5 over they should definitely give out tickets for going 10 to 15 miles an hour under the speed limit. It causes people to then speed once they get around those who have no idea how to drive.
