I spoke to the woman at the office, and she said that they were between cleaning companies. Fair enough. But a week later the bath house was still a disaster, so I spoke to them again and again they told me they didn't have a cleaning company yet. Then she told me to just use a different bath house (the one about a mile away from my site). Guess what? That bath house is dirty, too.
This is not an RV park; it is a park model community with very few RV sites for rent. Normally this wouldn't be a problem EXCEPT they don't clean their bath houses. We've been here for two weeks and the same hair is in the drains, same filth on the floor, and same used Q-Tips laying around.
Nice quiet and friendly park. Some pads are available as rentals. Full hookup sites.
Well-kept grounds. Friendly staff. All you would need for RVers. Would like to see a hot tub. Wifi is so weak it is practically non-existant. Might as well not plan on using the park's system. Also understand that at least 80% of the park is mobile homes. You will likely stay between mobile homes on a slab that is nice and level, but clearly laid out for a mobile home pad.
Hey it's an awesome place to stay. It's well kept the people are friendly. The pool is clean and is even heated. Just a few swings for children. Had a relaxing time playing shuffle board and horse shoes and spending time by the lake watching the wild life
Everything else about Sarasota Lakes RV Resort is great, but disgusting bath houses and staff who are indifferent about it is a deal-breaker and we will not be back here. If we could afford to eat the $1400 we paid for our site for the month and leave right now, we would.
There is a nice pool, the grounds are keep neat and the pond is a nice place to bird watch.
