I had them to make my cake for my wedding, and it was absolutely amazing. It was soft moist and amazing and all the flavors were outstanding. Well a year has passed and I ate my cake topper tonight and I will say that the cake was still as good as when it was fresh
Cupcakes?..more like eating a brick...not even soft at all..if they were on cupcake wars they would be laugh right out the building.And the coffee.. horrendous!..mouthwash taste better..ask for creamer and front counter woman looked dumbfounded..none available..really?..overall a bad experience and my taste buds will never forget it.
Cakes by Ron did our wedding cake and it was amazing. Nathan was an absolute pleasure to work with. The design was exactly what we wanted and the cake was excellent. Everything went smoothly with the delivery to the venue and everyone loved the cake.

His lack of respect and responsibility lead to his company being a complete no show/no call for a wedding I️ attended this weekend 11/11/17. No call, nor was he able to answer his phone or return messages as the arrival time can and went for his delivery of custom ordered cupcakes. Fortunately Gitchewsumbbq came through for the beautiful couple when Ron and his cakes failed to hold up their end. They went above and beyond and Ron could learn from how a real business owner like gitchewsum conducts business. #mistakesByRon
This is my first review ever, I have to give my honest opinion so no one else will have the same bad experience, . Ordered a "naked wedding cake" from Cakes by Ron for my daughter's wedding this past weekend. We were so disappointed and embarrassed, our guests referred to the cake as the "Leaning Tower of Pisa"! The bottom layer was lob sided, which caused the other 2 layers to tilt. To top it, they put the wrong filling in, the one we really did not like! My wedding planner told me that the delivery person plopped the cake down and hurried out. I called the owner and he had an excuse for everything!! He did not even apologize for the wrong filling, no apologies, did I say no apologies?!! I read all the great reviews before deciding on Cakes by Ron, therefore really shocked! Towards the end of the conversation I was very upset so the conversation did not end well. Be aware and very cautious, this bakery can not bake a naked cake, and although the cake itself was moist and delicious, it was outweighed by the layers and layers of wrong filling. My wedding planner will not use them in the future.
