I like Dr. Gutierrez and his staff so much that I still drive down to Sarasota from Tampa now that I've moved. They're very friendly, polite and helpful. I never have to wait very long. They're very helpful with insurance questions and take the time to go over your questions and issues. I don't feel like they recommend unnecessary procedures or try to sales pitch anything to you. They've got a couple programs like friend referrals and a great deal on teeth whitening, but it's all no pressure. The atmosphere is light and friendly and the doctor is very humorous.
Because he is "THAT GOOD".

First I want to say that the doctor is excellent and the staff great. Nice place. Been going for years and referred family and friends. Needed serious work - implants. Got the "talk" in the little room about cost. Was about $4000 out of pocket for me but I decided to do it. This is a long process over many months and I had some issues - mesh and bone coming through my gums, etc . so I was there PLENTY. Every time I said, "I am all paid up, right?" Six months later at the last appointment where I will finally leave with teeth, I am hit with a bill for $1008. HUH? The "missing tooth clause" I am told. The doctor seems to know the clause. Everyone but me. Turns out the estimate isn't a predetermination nor did they ever check with my insurance (in network). So I wrote the doctor because I was pretty shook up. Out of work and don't have $1000 to spare. No response. Felt the conversation with their insurance person was totally inadequate. After years of going and all the referrals I was surprised to not even get a response. So, I am done and two family members won't return either. If you go - CALL YOUR INSURANCE and do your homework. They don't.

My experience with this office has been AMAZING! I have been treated with such care and respect by Dr. Gutierrez and every single person I have encountered in the office. I flew in to Sarasota from Kansas City Sunday for a business meeting Monday. My tooth started aching terribly just before my flight and by the time I arrived I was in excruciating pain. A friend of mine called the office Sunday evening and I was able to be seen Monday morning. It turned out I needed a root canal and Dr. Gutierrez was able to get me in for the procedure Monday afternoon. Unbelievable service! I think I might have found my new dentist...even if he is in Sarasota!!
Recently had a tooth filled up here in a Chicago and every time I look in the mirror, the mismatched color between tooth and filling is driving me insane.
