I'd also like to note that my younger brother had a filling done by Dr. Peterson and had the very same issue involving extreme pain directly related to the new filling. My brother refused to go back to him and instead went to another dentist and just got a root canal to quickly ease the pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Peterson for about 4 years now. During this time, Dr. Peterson replaced all of my old dental work. I used to shred floss from my old fillings now I don't. My teeth have never looked or felt better. All of his office staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I never thought I would actually enjoy going to the dentist but now I do. When I go for my checkups I feel like I'm visiting with friends or family.
I've worked with many dentists over the years, and Dr. Matt Peterson is one of the best! I appreciate his professionalism, his wide experience and his obvious skill. Whenever I have work done, I always feel that I'm in competent, caring hands, and the results are excellent. I also appreciate the atmosphere of his office, including the outstanding staff and the beautiful decor.

Horrible, just horrible. NEVER GET A FILLING DONE BY THIS DENTIST! I Went in for a filling on a cavity and came out completely unable to eat on the right side of my mouth, experiencing excruciating pain. I went back for an adjustment 5 TIMES only to have been offered NO SATISFACTORY SOLUTION, instead he drilled on my tooth without any numbing agent during every single one of the FIVE 'adjustments' I went in for and that was even more painful. During each appointment I was told the dentist did not know why I was in so much pain. He eventually did offer to re-do the whole filling in an effort to resolve the issue, however the pain still existed the same as before. *** I think he cracked my tooth down to the root accidentally during the initial filling procedure *** he wanted to charge me a LOT of money to repair my tooth after I went through all of this, while telling me he had no idea why I was in so much pain... Since I could no longer trust this dentist I requested a refund for the initial filling so I could use it to get my tooth repaired by another dentist and he only refunded me HALF of my payment claiming it was out of 'GOOD WILL'. This dentist has no compassion and I absolutely do NOT trust him when it comes to fillings! If he really wanted to do something out of good will for me he would have fixed the problem that he created. The only good thing I can say about this office is that the receptionist at the front desk and his dental assistants are very caring and attentive.
