Nice enough staff. However, where I'm from, I'm used to high end doctors offices. This was a hole in the wall. I didn't see the MD, instead I was tended to by a nurse my entire session who didn't even take my temperature or order in office bloodwork (which I thought was a few of the things you do first when trying to solve the kind of problems I'm having). I told them the problems I had been having, the lady pressed on my stomach a few times. Then ordered a bunch of ultrasounds that don't seem necessary. I think I'll be looking for a healthcare team with a better office and follow protocols that I am more used to.
Hands down one of the best doctors I have been to. There when i need him and his staff and Nurse John are on top of everything. I would highly recommend him
I received a letter that the Florida board of medicine is reviewing his license, apparently he has received several complaints for poor quality of care and inappropriate prescribing. I wouldn't doubt it, the office was always super sketchy when I visited. Hopefully they discipline him soon.
Fantastic Doctor! I would highly recommend. The Cindy M lady who left the bad review is very confused. "nice enough guy but he treats sick kids" What is wrong with a family doctor treating sick kids? But then she says something about cosmetic injections - Dr. Ford practices family medicine and does not administer cosmetic injections of any kind - and he never has. Clearly this woman does not know what she is doing.
Dr Robert Ford has been my family doctor for over 12 years and always treated me with respect for everything from training injuries to sinus infections. Rarely do you get such a doctor that is a combinations of genius and good humor
Dr. Ford is my doctor, he is dedicated to offering his patients the best care and he is a consummate professional. He will take the time to sit down with you and answer questions. He truly treats his patients like friends not numbers - probably why he often treats several different generations within one family. I would highly recommend Dr. Ford to anyone looking for someone who practices family medicine.
