They called me on Tuesday, and saied "we have a tech free" Tech comes out, says he can't get into my attic (flat roof), so he can't do the work.
They had an initial estimate fee of $100, which I refused. In response, they said that if I was willing to work on their schedule, they would waive the fee. Okay.
Here's where it gets awful. I hired a local carpenter to install a ceiling access, and paid him $200 to frame and install the access. They call me today to let me know they're ready to work, and they say "We're going to charge you for the service visit now."
I wanted a simple vent fan installed in my bathroom ceiling. No problem, they said! $225, and we'll take care of everything.
So, on their own schedule, they added $300 to the project cost, and I still don't have a working fan. Never call these people, they're the worst.
Reneged on a contract.
