Very unprofessional.
Had a confirmed appointment. The electrician decided upon the date and time.. Monday 2 -4.. He never showed and never called or texted to cancel. I texted him twice with no response.
My wife called Sunbelt Electric on Friday to see if we could schedule a cook-top hookup and surprisingly, they were able to schedule for Monday morning. Chad called early Monday morning to say that Ramon would be here between 8-10. Ramon arrived and was efficient and professional. He was able to hook up our cook-top very quickly and suggested at that time for a serge protector on our fuse box which is located outside. We had been wanting to do that to protect our electrical just in case of a bad storm. I would definitely recommend Sunbelt Electric and we will continue to use them if the need arises.
I used Sun Electric for two jobs in my home without incident so I recommended them to my elderly neighbors. Sun Electric took $1700 of their money for a contracted job, have yet to perform ANYwork to date as contracted and REFUSE to give their money back! FOWL business practices!
Sunbelt Electric is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. I was connected to Sunbelt Electric through HomeAdvisor on Monday, November 6th and scheduled an appointment for an electrician to come Tuesday between 12-3. At 4, no one had shown up yet so I gave them a call and spoke with Patrick. Patrick called the technician and called me back saying that they would like to reschedule for tomorrow (Wednesday) between 12-3. I agreed. Again no one showed up and no one called. I called them at 3 and Patrick said he would speak to the technician and then call me back, but he never did. I got a call from Sunbelt Electric on Friday asking if the work was completed. I explained my situation and they apologized and said they’d schedule a technician for Monday between 12-3. I reluctantly agreed. A couple technicians showed up around noon on Monday, but I wasn’t charged what I was told I would be charged over the phone. When I spoke with Patrick on Tuesday, November 7th, he informed me it would be $60 for them to look at the issue and provide me with an estimate. The technicians looked at the issue and charged me a $215 “troubleshooting fee”. I called Sunbelt Electric and spoke with the office manager, Elijah, about the fee and the miscommunication, but it was a really terrible experience dealing with him. He barely let me speak, constantly talking over me. He threatened to repossess my house if I didn’t pay and when I informed him that I would be paying and following up with legal action, he commented, “our attorneys deal with people like you all the time and we never lose.” The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the technicians themselves were helpful and they got the job done, even if it was done for more money than I would have agreed to if I were given the choice.
We had a great experience with sunbelt electric. Our electrician Chad was excellent. He arrived on time and was so friendly and polite. He was hard working and did such a great job. He put in 5 fans and 1 light fixture and they all look amazing. I would definitely use them again and refer them to friends and family.
Now after I waited all weekend I will need to find someone else..
