Walk-in, no wait on a Saturday morning. Friendly service, a lot of time taken with pedicure. 3rd visit, good service each time.
I went online and read about proper gel techniques. You are not supposed to soak the whole fingertip in acetone. You are supposed to use foil, and then massage lotion into the fingers and nails to prevent dryness. I also read that gel polish should last 3 weeks. I use my hands a lot, but still don’t understand why mine started chipping after 2 days. After Kayla “fixed” them at a $3 charge, they started chipping again 2 days later. As the polish is coming off, I can feel how strong my nails underneath are. (So thin nails is not the reason for the chipping.)
I love Kayla. She is always willing to do exactly what you want. She is very good with acrylic. Best to come early or schedule an appointment - and she serves wine
I never do reviews but as I sit in this nail salon I find myself losing patients. I came in and was seated. The nail tech started my to glue my nails on for a full set. A few people came in and and all of a sudden the tech went to do a pedicure no one informed me of anything. As I'm sitting here with all the techs working on people who came in after me. I asked when will someone finish my nails. She stated I'm just doing a polish and then I'm coming. Well it's been approximately 20 mins and still no one came as yet. I will not recommend this place at all. Very unprofessional.......
This place isn’t expensive as all the others in the area. However, they need more help. Also, none of the practices the art of hand washing. They will literally complete someone pedicure and start one someone nails, without washing their hands. One of them arched someone eye brows without washing their hands and the utensils used didn’t look very clean. I came in with a friend and decided not to get my nails done there for that reason. Also, I noticed where she soak someone nails off and the lady poured the stuff back in the bottle. My friend nails were nicely done and well designed though.
I’ve been here quite a few times but sadly will not go back. I tried out gel polish, and the first time it lasted almost a week. I went in the following week and Kayla had me soak my fingertips in acetone for a while to get the polish off. She did my nails with gel polish. Less than 2 days later it was already chipping. When I went in to have her fix it, she seemed mad at me and acted like it was my fault for not having acrylic nails. My nails are very healthy and not thin like she claimed.
Not one to leave a review normally, but I was very unhappy with this experience. This picture was taken a week and a day after being at the salon.
