MARIJUANA USE! Manager Christine (Christy?) & worker (heavy-set young man with curly hair) were smoking Marijuana on the steps of the rear exit. They left the exit door cracked and the Marijuana smoke was filling the theater's hallway. Meanwhile my 8 year old is asking "what is that smell?" Not exactly the best Family place. When attempting to contact the Owner, I'm never able to reach him via telephone to report this unethical behavior of his employees & they are never able to provide his email address. I know it's hard to find hard working people but drugs at the work place is unreal! They weren't even trying to hide their drug use... makes you wonder what other drugs they are using... :'-(
Bargain price admissions as well as concessions. Large spacious auditoriums with comfortable seats. Plenty of parking. Many worthwhile attractions in this shopping center. Restrooms average. I try for three movies a week when I am in Sarasota. I love this place!!
This theater provides a great service to the community. Go for the $2.50 price, reasonably recent movies, excellent screens and projectors and comfortable seats. If the outdated decor and restrooms will bother you, then go ahead and spend $10 or more elsewhere. But if you appreciate value and can live with "classic" decor, then appreciate the savings. Once the lights go down, the quality of the screens, projectors and seats are all that matters anyway.
The price can't be beat and the staff is very nice. The theatres are large, clean and the chairs are comfy. However, both bathrooms smelled pretty fowl, and the ticket area after the movie was over didn't smell so good either. I think if they could do something about that, it would get 5 stars.
Chairs Feel Great! Clean. I know I should give 5-stars, because all Movie Theaters are like this -- They make the majority of their profits from selling food and soda -- Yet, would it kill them to offer deals/promotions for food?
