The quote was provided easily over the phone based on an hourly rate. The price was the best for 3 men and a truck. The movers were very courteous and friendly. The manager from the Sarasota branch worked with me on a difference between the estimate and the number he had for me, and I was very pleased that he honored the lowest price in discrepancy. The crew unassembled and assembled our beds too. Great service and great price!
i wish i could give this company a negative 100. worst movers ever. would never recommend to anybody. they were careless and broke many items, some irreplaceable. if you are thinking about using them dont. all their company is a bunch of careless teenagers.
Seriously, we would give them negative stars if we could. I moved recently, just a local move a mile away. I was assured they were professional, they vetted their movers, they would wrap items. I can tell you none of this is true. Where to start...the mattresses were slid across the dirty floors of the truck without being wrapped, they were laying flat with boxes on top if them. They tried to cram our new refridgerator thru the door banging up the door, the frame, and scratching the refrigerator. They also scratched up the side of my oak curio/tv stand. There was a thick bevelled glass coffee table top in our garage that was to be moved to the new house. I looked at it and saw the whole corner a 5x6 inch piece was broken off. I asked about it to one of the movers and he said oh that was broken before we got here, look there is no glass. Sure enough there wasnt but I know it wasnt broken before. Then my daughter and I just built a brand new $120 outdoor storage bench made of tough outdoor plastic since we had the room at the old house. These incompetent movers managed to break a hole in it some how. The horror didnt come full circle until after they were done manhandling our things and we had a moment to look at the aftermath. First of all, we noticed many scratches and dings on things. Then when we looked closer the base for the above mentioned coffee table had broken off on the corner (not just a small corner the whole corner) and been glued back together with what looked like hard as nails stuff it was running out of the crack, just slathered on. I was horrified. We got to looking more closely over the last week and found a new large expensive vase in the front of our house had also been glued back together with the slathered on dripping glue. When we called we were told because we didnt get the insurance they wouldnt cover any of the many things they broke or ruined. I didnt get the extra insurance because I figured it was less than a mile to the new house and that they would use care when moving our things. Boy was I wrong! I could see if it were a few little things but at this point we are at over $500 of damage. I am sure Im missing things, but whatever you do DO NOT USE THEM, unless you like broken and ruined things. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. If you choose to use them even after reading all these reviews like I did, remember, you have been warned.
Worst move ever! They must have picked their packers up off the street corner as they obviously DO NOT know how to pack anything. They sure knew how to bring up a "tip" right away. Have moved 8 times by professional movers and this is the worst nightmare experience ever. So much damage, broken mirrors and glass (which they packed), black boot print and dirt all over our box springs and mattresses which they did not pack in boxes or even wrap in plastic. There was mildew on furniture and gouges on wooden file cabinets and so on and so on. So much for Steve assuring us their storage facility is climate controlled. It was so nice of their guy who packed our wardrobe box to discard his 64 oz. styrofoam drink container in the box with our suits and dresses. In reality, one star is one too many. Need I say more? My recommendation: RUN FROM THIS OUTFIT!
Terrible communication. Wasn’t told at any point prior to delivery that my items wouldn’t all be delivered at the same time, instead was told after I paid in full when the driver rang the door bell. Complete lack of care was demonstrated in the handling of my items- a wardrobe box was carried in upside down and dishes that had successfully made it through several prior moves were broken. Watched as a box of picture frames was flipped around every which way after being bounced off every wall. A chunk of my desk was missing. Worst possible decision of this move was going with Bekins.
