A most relaxing place to visit. Beautiful views, information abounds and a chance to see old Florida greenery and gardens. The trees are awe inspiring. Handicap accessible. 2 to 3 hours to really see everything and kid friendly too.
orchids were beautiful, gardens were lovely. very relaxing to walk through. reminder - DO NOT touch the cactus. great little snack shop inside, very fun tree house for the little ones (and adults ; ) ) to play in
Of you need somewhere to go and get some fresh air, and enjoy what nature has to offer, this is the perfect place for you. From the beautiful flowers, the fun playground for the kids, and the fresh food from the deli, this is an experience you would not want to pass up... Would definitely visit again
I came here with my family while on vacation from St Louis. It was a great break from the beach for the day. The Marie Selby Botanical Garden accepts reciprocal memberships, so my husband and I got in for free with our Missouri Botanical Garden membership (which is awesome). The garden itself is a nice easy walk that you can get through at a leisurely pace. The path around the garden is fairly well manicured so it would even be good for people who have a hard time with uneven surfaces. If you have an afternoon to kill, considering checking out some of the cool plants at the botanical garden!
A little smaller than most botanical gardens I have been to, but so beautiful. Everything is always maintained and is the best of the best. , Gardens are always taken care of, staff and volunteers have always been friendly, bathrooms are always clean, cafe food is great, i cannot complain about anything here. The year passes are affordable, and there is always something going on. Music, kids events, yoga, etc. If you enjoy botanical gardens, definitely go.
