I love this location and the staff are amazing. The City of Sarasota has placed the park into a state of disrepair. When the state removed the helmet laws two years ago the city decided to keep the old system. The park when it was built was top of the line but has fallen behind in comparison to other parks in the area. Sarasota desperately needs an update to the action sports community complexes. There are bowls in this park which are not for beginners and can be dangerous. Overall the design is a lot of fun. The park itself five stars the city zero for their lack of support of a vibrant and thriving aspect of our city's community.
Great park but it's always closed and poorly run. Beginners can ride 2 hours a week on Saturdays from 10-12. This is also the same time they book parties and events so beginners loose their only slot for the week. They also post notifications about the park being closed 6 minutes beforehand so you don't find out that they're closed you until you get there!
Nice. Skate park is small. Play area great for kids. Cops are right there ....bums in the park if you like that and too pricy to get to or stay at
Great place for kids and adults.Nice biking/jogging trail plus huge playground and skating area. Also has a nice little place for food and drinks. Felt comfortable letting my kids run around and play, nice atmosphere, no creeper element.
This is the best skate park but not all the days accepts bike
