If I could give 10 stars I would have.
Happy Feet manager Beverly was very helpful. She let us try on many shoes, measured and explained our pressure points. The 2gals from Louisiana thank you. Oh and the Kenkoh flip flops, you were right -we love them, and wear them all the time!
I normally would keep my shut about things but this got under my skin, since I work in customer relations and know how (fake) bad reviews can hurt.
Worst customer service ever. When I bought the shoes, everything was fine. Beverly said that she would waive the return policy for me if for some reason I didn't like the shoe. I wore the shoe for 4 hours 45 min on Saturday morning and was in so much excruciating pain Sunday all day I had to return the shoes. I called Monday morning to ensure Beverly would be there as she guaranteed I could return them. When I came in Tuesday morning to return them, she charged me $40 to return them. And told me that technically she didn't even have to return them. I will NEVER shop there again. Beverly should understand customer service better and explain guarantees better to the customer BEFORE they purchase a product. She even got an attitude with me and said she's never heard of a company doing that and as a matter of fact, my company does. Anybody in customer service should know that. It's common sense.
The ones who gave 1 star, I don't know what they have experienced, they should give them another shot.
As for an ATTITUDE you think you got (because I was in the store when you came in) is a complete fabrication on your part. And even if she did give you attitude, I don't blame her because you were extremely rude and you felt you we're entitled. You wanted Happy Feet to change their policy on how to return your refund and when you were not happy about that you are now making false claims.
I go directly to this store when I need a new pair of shoes for work or fun. The staff is pleasant and I always leave with a smile and great pair of shoes. After years of being frustrated and wasting money on poorly fitting shoes I buy all my shoes here.
I have to say Megan you are COMPLETELY OFF BASE. It clearly states the return policy on the receipt, if you took the time to read it, and not expect a FULL REFUND for something you wore, then this negative review would not be necessary.
Love this store. Staff was great, extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. The Manager Beverly, put me in the perfect pair of sneakers, she scanned my foot pressure to determine what would fit me best. I am On my feet all day and she fit me in a pair Brooks sneakers, and the perfect insoles. My legs and back feel great after a long day at work.
I love this store and have always had great experiences here whether I purchased shoes or not. I shop at many high end shoe stores in my hometown and when I vacation. Was so happy to find this store and the Kenkoh sandals. These are not for everyone but if you follow the directions given (You don't wear for 4 hours the first day) you will be amazed. My feet don't like Birks but that is not the fault of the store. Bought a pair and wore for years (because everyone told me the shoe had to mould to my feet) but finally threw out. Do your research and ask questions before purchasing.
Don't blame anyone but yourself as why you can't find shoes that fit.
