The associates at this location show the quality of service that makes Publix the place people will shop, even if you have to pay a little more. The Deli and Pharmacy staff is great (thank you Heidi and Gabby you are the best). Keep up the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Great supermarket. Clean, conscientious and includes great bakery, deli and produce section. The ideal place to shop for groceries.
I had a not so nice experience at the customer representative. When it came time to pay for items, I handed him the paper that I needed for for that purchase. I handed it to him and he "oh I don't need that" and instead of handing it back to me, he tossed it onto the counter. I picked it up and asked to have someone else to wait on me. The service rep asked "what did I do". I asked again for someone else to wait on me. A lady came to wait on me and I don't remember her name. She never even asked me what happened!!! When you are dealing with customers respect and courtesy must be there, and I didn't feel that it was there today during my visit.
Since Publix at The Plaza on Palmer Ranch near Target was closest to my home I had continued to fill my prescription there long after I stopped shopping at that location since I found the the staff rude and not very helpful. However, after the unprofessional and rude customer service of the pharmacy staff I immediately transferred all my prescriptions to the Pharmacy at Bay Street which is closer to work rather than home.
5.49 for two tiny meatballs and a drop of sauce on a lot of bread from the deli. Tasteless. They are only nice to the obviously rich patrons.
No water in any Publix in Sarasota, FL nor in Wallmart 5 days ahead of Hurricane? Then when you call the store Richard is very aggravated with customer inquiry about water and no answer when and how much will arrive and how often we expect water delivery - he said they don't know why delivery was missed ? ? ? He said it is coming from Lakeland, I've asked if they've called Lakeland or if I can assist to call the distribution centers to find more out - but no answer or any info on water - this is not right and so uncertain and people cannot order online either. Five days ahead of hurricane no online water delivery possible in Florida??? Where are all our super systems. I've called Nestle and their system is down - really? Must be Bill Gates we need to call next, don't you agree?
