This place has its ups and downs. I go here often for late night grocery shopping. But they recently changed their hours from 24 hours to 6am-12pm. Their dairy and yogurt section is never fresh. I went last night, and there was chunky milk in the fridge. We told someone, and nothing was done about it during the hour we were there. Then I shopped for yogurt, and every date I checked was expired. Watch out for their clearance dairy, 90 percent of the time it's more than 2 weeks expired. Stick to buying non perishable goods from here, and go to publix or target for dairy and fresh food. They actually care about freshness and quality.
Nice choice, well supplied, very friendly and helpful staff. Not crowded parking. Open late (till 11:00 pm) Better choice of groceries than in Walmart Supercenters in the area. A lot of discounts. Friendly customer service. Pharmacy. Huge selection of meats, vegetables, frozen food and seasonal decorations. Credit and debit cards accepted. Clean restrooms. Strongly recommended.
All Wal-Mart shops are great, this is no exception. Wal-Mart is the place to get what I need whatever I go.
I like the idea of a mini-Walmart with most of the necessities of life in walking distance from home. The attached pharmacy has even a drive in window. Around Thanksgiving there are a lot of discounted prices. The grocery department has reasonable size. The shelves are a bit more crowded as at other shops. Lot of automates around, even a key copy robot.
I must go to Walmart 3 times a week....or more. But anyway I ordered a 8 cube organizer online from their Cattlemen Store in Sarasota (as I literally live across the street from them!) and it was supposed to be sent there and assembled but someone who took the online order messed up and sent it to the Bee Ridge store where they DON'T assemble. I called them up and was told that that I would have to pick it up there as they can't send it to the Cattlemen store which is maybe 10 minutes tops away! I have a 2002 Corvette so there was no way I could fit it in my car. However, I stopped by the Bee Ridge store and talked to the manager Eric and explained my problem and this great guy said he would be glad to deliver it personally in his jeep to my home which he did a few hours ago and I am putting it together now. I just wanted to thank him for doing this and recommend this Walmart! Not too many managers would so something like this and I really appreciate it Eric.
Prices are low, and cashiers are usually really nice.
