I understand that you have a business to run but let's not rob people of their money. I think from previous reviews we can all come to terms with the fact that services are overpriced.
My mother took my chinchilla in when she ripped out her stitches since I am away for college. They did very necessary tests on her (which my regular vet did not even think to do), took time to look at her, and even taught my mother how to hold her properly. According to my mom, the vet was young, bubbly, and very caring. As someone currently in school to be a veterinarian, I could not be happier. Although I have not been there personally, both my mother and I truly appreciate the compassionate care given to my chinchilla.
The female Dr. Was unempathetic. I could only see my dog and bring him in the special room where I could see him, only if I were to let him die. I said well how do I know if I can't see his condition. Unbelievable, worse costly mistake I made was to go there. Never again. Being In The medical field this was profound to experience such ruthlessness.
BluePearl provided excellent care for my dog who had been hit by a truck and landed in a pond. He was triaged at another vet before being transported to BluePearl for overnight care, oxygen for his bruised lungs, treatment of his head trauma, and closing lacerations to his abdomen.
Thanks to the top-notch care of BluePearl and the clinic who provided initial triage, my dog was able to come home the day after his accident and is expected to recover within a couple weeks.
We felt the staff was nice with the exception of one vet tech that was supposed to be caring for our sweet little boy. Our family believes she is serving in the wrong position to be dealing with upset/grieving puppy parents. Rudeness is simply uncalled for. We felt all our options were not disclosed to us. Therefore, we researched options, asked if they were in fact options for his virus to find out they were. Why were these not mentioned since we repeatedly asked what our options were? Unfortunately, by the time we did the research ourselves, confirmed with the vet that they were options, and they started the process only to find out he was too weak. We will never know if these options had been mentioned to us in a timely fashion, if our sweet little guy would be bouncing around our backyard with his brother today. We also felt this facility was EXTREMELY overpriced. If you can afford the emergency services please consider using other emergency services.
As with all emergency services, my dog's stay here was not without cost, but they were upfront with a estimated range based on how long his stay might be, gave an opinion of probable cost within that range, and the services ended up being closer to the low end of the estimate than the high end.
To your reply, remember you didn't want to treat.him.anymore or allow me to.take him.home, where you do with humans. Poor in all aspects of your professionalism.
They're very nice, respectful, but too high priced. I just left a consultation to get an idea of what was wrong with my pup. I presumed allergies and they gave me a report for all the testing for allergies. So ALL we did was talk! No medicine, no treatments, nothing but talk for 45minutes. $161 to talk! This is a money hungry world we live in and here are people who are trying to do well for their animals while other owners don't even give them flea treatment or leave them tied up during a hurricane. I'm disappointed.
