Wow. I actually live just a block away and I can't believe the disrespect a waitress just gave me. It is 10:30pm on a Friday night, and I am walking my dog in the neighborhood. I wanted to order a drink, and I have waited diligently for the last 20 minutes outside (understandly so because there's a great band inside and I expect they have plenty of customers.) But when they came out to finally ask "what the hell they can do out here" and I was sitting right there waiting to order my drink. I said "you must be having a bad night" and she just something extremely crass and walked away... Never even took my order!!!! Well all I can say is WOW! You deserve the crappy rating! Learn that locals are what support your lifestyle... And never forget it. BYE BLUE ROOSTER!
It's really not my kind of place. I go because my friends enjoy the music the noise the comradery and the quaintness of country music. I also always feel a little discomfort with a restaurant that charges a minimum or entrance fee. I know good talent is expensive.
Excellent music venue, leaning in the Blues direction. Very nice southern style food menus with a variety of beers including local draft taps. This is an upscale Blues bar.
This was such a fun spot to eat! The music was fun and upbeat, everyone danced and enjoyed themselves. The food was fantastic. We visit Sarasota several times a year and we will definitely be sure to make this a frequent stop.
Whatever food I had was good although service was slow but nobody seemed to mind. and the musical groups were all good and talented.. I would recommend it for an evening if you like the feel of a club and country music.
Beautiful place. Good music abounds there. We heard some excellent blues. Volume was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had a burger and fries. Very good. Mac and cheese was fantastic. Collard greens were quite good. They feature "home cookin" type meals. Everyone had a wonderful time.
