Coors light in the bottle was ice cold! Coldest beer in the bottle I've gotten from any restaurant . Got there right before 7pm so the beer was only 2.75

I visited the restaurant yesterday in the middle of the afternoon. I have to admit, that I almost left, because when I walked in, the person that was supposed to be greeting people was so involved with her phone that she didn't even see me standing there. Glad I didn't leave, as the food was really good. The refried beans were the best that I've had in Sarasota, and the rice was very good as well. I had tamales...sadly, they offered to put queso on them, and I obliged...they are best just by themselves! My guess is that they were made in house, as they were excellent! The only reason that I didn't give this 5-stars was due to the service, which didn't get much better after I was finally acknowledged.
My biggest complaint is the overall bland food. It wasn't terrible, but it had no flavor. My tacos with green pepper had raw green pepper instead of flavorful sautéed green pepper. The salsa was alright, better than the tomato purée salsa you get some places, but even with the spicy options it was not that flavorful. The margaritas were not great, but were drinkable. Everything about this place screamed average, so this is an average review.
Clean and tidy.
It was an amazing experience. Yummy fresh nachos with yummy salsa. My husband and I shared a mixed fajita which was so soft and delicious. I would certainly go back. The price was very reasonable.
