It's nice to know a mechanic in the area that you can trust, treats you with respect and charges you the true cost of the repair.
It's been almost two weeks and the car runs great with no problems. They even gave me a courtesy call a few days later to thank me for my business. After having unprofessional experiences at dealerships with the same car and being price gouged for repairs I could do myself, it was refreshing to pay less than expected at Kaufman's for a repair I definitely could not do myself.
I have chosen Kaufman's Shop after reading numerous highly positive reviews. After two visits for two different repairs, I can attest that Roger and his associates have excellent expertise in auto service; they have done the work extremely well and in a short time. I recommend this shop to everyone without hesitation.
My husband and I were on vacation and noticed on our way here that our brakes were acting up. We didn't feel safe to make the trip back hone to Wisconsin with the brakes acting the way they were. I searched for local repair shops on Google and loved the reviews for Kaufman's Auto Repair. We both felt comfortable to take our Avalon there. We were not let down and highly recommend them. Rhonda was wonderful and very informative of what was found as problems. The cost was very fair, if not low due to the extra work required to get rusted-on rotors off. I didn't get to meet Roger, but want to say congratulations to you and your new bride!
Roger and his staff continue to provide me with value-added customer service and maintenance on my vehicles. I have more trust and confidence with them, than the dealerships. I have all of my car manufacturer recommended maintenance services completed by Roger. He works on my cars as if they belonged to a family member. His expertise and workmanship, plus his very competitive pricing makes him my "go to" place for auto maintenance. I've been to Kaufman's with a buddy of mine who was getting his car fixed. This was the third different place we went to and the first two either charged way too much for labor or tried to get him to change it parts that were relatively new. Kaufman's told him right away it was a clogged EGR valve and poor intake performance. They worked on it for 2 hours and I believe he only paid $300. THAT'S INSANE! I mean my buddy had the EGR valve that he bought thinking they would need to change it. They just cleaned it really well and it was good as new. Engine performance and fuel efficiency was way better and check engine light hasn't come on since. This is my new go to shop. I mean I live in Sarasota and I'm sure there are plenty of good shops closer to me but I'm going to Kaufman's. I trust them wholeheartedly. Just very professional and courteous. Highly recommend.
After about twenty minutes I was told the issue could be fixed within about three hours and I was given an estimated repair cost that was much cheaper than I expected. The car was fixed in well under three hours and cost exactly the same as the estimate I was given.
Highly recommended - My wife's Chevrolet Equinox was stalling when backing up and after trying to diagnose the issue over the internet, I became concerned the repair would be extremely costly with some reviews saying the issue always came back. I called Kaufman's to schedule an appointment and they told me to come over right away and they would squeeze me in. Their facility is very nice and clean and the employees were extremely nice and actually cared about what I had to say when explaining the problem I was experiencing with the car. The waiting room even had a window to watch the mechanics work on your car while you wait.
