Waits there are NO JOKE, ridiculously long, I'm talking HOURS, and I have no idea why! They always seem plenty staffed, always looks like employees are just walking around or hanging out. I don't understand why they create these odd bureaucratic systems with long waits (even with an appointment you wait an incredibly long time) when they could either hire more staff or change how they handle customers.
I have had repeated bad experiences at this location, from the reviews, so has everyone else who dared entered the store. The appointment I set was useless, I waited HOURS for help, only to have some condescending tech tell me that what I wanted to do wasn't possible. If an employee cannot sympathize with the frustration of a customer who has waited hours to be helped...then don't wait on customers, stay in the back room.

Excellent help at the Genius Bar. I just walked in without an appointment and a staff member signed me up to see a tech. I was told it would be a little over an hour wait. No big deal, as I stated, I didn't have an appointment. My wife and I went to lunch. I received a text about 30 minutes later but I was able to quickly and easily respond to to an option to push the tech appointment back 30 minutes to allow time to finish lunch. We went back to the store and received another text when there was a tech free and I had a tech addressing my MacBook issue about 15 minutes later. The tech fixed my Mac's software issue and the assistance didn't cost anything! Very pleased with the service!
I called the Apple Customer Care number, explained my frustration with the process over my little speaker. The were incredibly helpful and ended up sending me a replacement speaker. So kudos to them for the awesome customer support.

Secondly, fun fact, if you buy a non-Apple product there you receive zero customer service past 14 days. I purchased a Bose speaker that after a month wouldn't hold a charge, went into Apple and they said there's nothing they could do. Go into Bose and if I had purchased it there they would just exchange it. I will never buy another product from this location. I purchased my new Macbook online because of my absolute distaste for this specific location. Lose the attitude.
Macbook rendered nonfunctional by OS update, customer service tells me I can make an appointment a week later or walk in and wait awhile. Walked in, told me to come back 6 hours later. 4 hours later they text me to tell me my spot is open. I miss the text, 20 minutes later they say my slot has been given to another customer and tell me to make another appointment. I did, show up for the appointment 15 minutes early the next week, and wait 3 hours to be seen! No exaggeration. After all of that it took them less than 10 minutes to resolve the issue.
Literally only getting two stars for physical appearance and accessibility to sample devices, but...
From my own personal experiences, nobody is super friendly or goes out of their way to help expedite to fix problems.
Staff always seems to purposely make people wait, even if it's not necessary. Husband went in there just to purchase a battery, didn't need the tech help, and they still made him wait in line. He was like, "I know exactly what I need, can I just go grab it and purchase it?" and they told him no, he needed to wait for a rep to help him.
Went in this morning for the first time for my Sons iphone. Diego.F came out to help me. He was so friendly spent over an hour with my device also multitasking helping another customer which i thought was great. The device couldnt be saved but Diego let me know it was still in warranty and within moments had a brand new device out, set up contacted the carrier stayed on the phone with them through set up.
