We have been turned off by other "Tex-Mex" restaurants in the past. Menus with combinations including "36" and "AA" when all the food tastes the same, no matter what you order were the primary reason for our avoidance of Mexican restaurants. Mi Pueblo does not fall into that category. We have been there twice in the last week because the menu has an appropriate number of choices and the food was delicious. Even though our first visit was about 20 minutes before closing after lunch, we were treated as though we we're the first ones in the door.

The atmosphere and wait staff are great. We came for dinner and were immediately seated and had multiple servers refill our water and chips and salsa. I agree with the other reviewer that the food is not the best I've ever had, but it was definitely good. Would recommend.
This place is absolutely gorgeous. They did a fantastic job designing it. The ambience is beautiful and they have multiple rooms inside and outside. Staff was very friendly at lunchtime. Food was well presented in tasted good. The only reason I didn't put five stars is because I didn't feel like it was the best Mexican food I've ever had. The food was good, but at least what we got wasn't anything to write home about.
Four coworkers and I are down in Sarasota on business and we decided to give this place a try. We were very impressed: food was great, prices were reasonable, the place was super cute inside. I had three margaritas (they were half off for happy hour) and they cost me $8.64 for all three! I’ve NEVER gotten real and good margaritas that cheap. Everything was above average as far as Mexican Restaurants go, the only complaint I have is the shrimp in my shrimp quesadillas were frozen shrimp. I would recommend they use fresh seafood, especially being a beach town. Service was a bit slow but that was due to them being understaffed (our server had MANY other tables) so we were okay with that. Otherwise, it was fabulous and we will definitely be back, especially for the cheap margaritas! Thank you, Mi Pueblo, for a great dinner experience!
