When in downtown Sarasota, Fl., and the wifey and I want 'Mexican', we run for the border at 'dos Señoritas'.
Quite good. A menu so wide and extensive that you need to bring in a Spanish speaking guide to translate . Our waiter told us what's in the unknown thing that we ordered from the menu.
If you know how to read a complicated menu combo, you will get your guacamole, black beans, and rice and sour cream. Otherwise like in my case I left out the sour cream and had to pay extra.
Fantastic food, this has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. We had a party of seven and our server was very very good. The food was all quickly served and very hot. That many people,we had a few changes and second requests. The server was right on not a mistake made.
Good food, quick service, reasonable prices. You'll have a little wait on weekends and in 'season', but well worth it.
The entrèes are savory, and the Margaritas (and Tequila Sunrises) sensational!
It's my own fault for not spending more vacations in Mexico.
