We purchased a home in Venice and we visited a couple of furniture stores in the area and were not impressed. We asked around and were told told try Hudson Furniture. We walked in and I knew right away that we found a gem. We dealt with two different sales women and were very happy with both of them. We purchased a couch, loveseat, coffee table, end tables, lamps, dining set and console, leather theatre type seating and bedroom furniture. After a couple of months we noticed the couch was not right on the front. We contacted Hudson and a rep was out in no time to see what the problem was. They said it would be repaired but instead delivered a new couch. The delivery people are excellent too! I thought that their prices were great, as I have worked for 21 years in a store in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pa., that did interior design and sold furniture, lamps and home accessories. I was shocked at how reasonable the prices are at Hudson. Would highly recommend this store.
Searching for a replacement for a leather couch I still love is not easy. A friend suggested Hudson's, which turned out to be a wonderful idea. After showing George a picture of my sofa, he immediately took me to two similar models. As we talked he
listened and thoroughly explained all the options available that would meet my criteria. I left armed with pertinent information and some swatches. Great experience.

We went into the store last night with my mother in law who was looking for all new furniture for her new villa. No one welcomed us, no one said "can we help you?" We passed at least 4 salespeople that were not helping other guests, none of whom said a word. My mother in law saw a few items she liked but we ultimately decided to go else where. I'm not one to write a poor review however I was extremely disappointed in the lack of service and downright rude attitude of the employees we encountered. Needless to say we will not be going back.
I recently purchased a sofa from here. A very personable woman named Laura sold it to me. She was extremely knowledgeable and really helped me pick out the perfect sofa for my new home. Great job Hudsons on not only employing a friendly staff but also for having such a beautiful selection of furniture. I will most definitely recommend you to my friends. :)
