my father fell and broke his hip, he had amazing care. The staff there is loving and compassionate. My father fully recovered from his hip replacement thanks to the therapy he received there and was able to walk independently after his therapy, this would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication from his clinicians at Manorcare.
My father recuperated at Manor Care for several weeks and received the required nursing care to keep him alive. However, empathy and human kindness were not apparent and when he was sent back to hospital, the nursing staff never acknowledged his family as they retrieved his belongings. They never asked how he was! Therefore, this facility gets one star.
Manor Care Staff is the best! They take excellent care of my mother. She is always happy, clean, well dressed, and always smells nice. Her room is always bright, clean and bed made. I have never once walked in the building and smelled a foul odor and my mother has been a resident there over a year. The staff takes care of her as if she was their mother. They call me immediately if she is sick or anything develops with her. I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care extended to my mother. I do not worry at all about my mom because I know she is in the best hands possible.

After about 8 months at another facility, my father came to stay here and has been for over a year. The hospitality is wonderful. Good food, prompt service - very prompt to notify family of any changes to my father's health - as well as being quick to respond to my father's needs, excellent staff, clean & functional facilities. I am extremely happy with the quality of care that has been given to my father. I am not able to visit as often as I'd like, so it is also important that they have flexible hours, which they do. If I were to recommend a home for anyone, it would be Manor Care. They work very well with hospice and medicare/medicaid (reasonable cost), and very smooth to transition into from your home, or another nursing facility.
