I STOPPED TO HAVE A BATTERY CHANGED IN MY WATCH AS WELL AS A REPAIR ON THE CLIP OF ANOTHER WATCH. I FOUND THE OWNERS TO BE GRACIOUS IN SPITE OF THE SMALL TRANSACTION. I WILL USE THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR ALL MY JEWELRY NEEDS.
I brought a watch in for a battery replacement. They replaced the battery, but were unable to close the watch. I waited 35 MINUTES for the watch to be closed, at which point, the woman in front told me, "We'll have to take it to our watchmaker." I said that wasn't an option, and I took the watch with me. I brought it to the jeweler in the Southgate Mall, who closed the watch in under five minutes.
Great family owned business. Changed my watch battery on the spot, no wait, for nine dollars. I will bring whatever watches or jewelry need repair ir for purchases to the store.
When I got home, I saw that the chronograph was completely inoperable. It definitely was working perfectly before the battery died. I brought it back to University Park Jewelers, who disavowed any responsibility. There is no doubt that their fumbling with it caused it to malfunction.
