I find the employees fairly helpful. Some with more knowledge than others. WAY to much effort on "up sell", and not product knowledge. This is a weekend warriors paradise, very few professional quality tools. I use the "club" and coupons for best deals, and always make sure I retain the store receipts for returns, and yes, thee have been several returns.
Normally good but since they have no power since irma, employees have to escort everyone through the store like we are children. I hate being treated like a thief or a child.
If you know what you're buying, and understand the risks in quality, you can find a few deals worth keeping. I buy tons of cheap clamps, welding supplies, and a few air tools. Instead of being an uneducated shopper, do a little research and you'll make out fine in the end.
Very bad customer service! Unfortunately is the only harbor freight in Sarasota.
Unbelievable how slow this store moves. It took over 15 mins to check out three customers prior to me. They didn't have anything special and it was like within pint dry.
