Start to finish -- great experience. The young man who checked me in was kind, courteous, and very helpful. The day I went to return the car I pulled out of a narrow parking spot and scraped the side on a pole; I thought it would be a very time consuming process returning and was concerned about making my flight. Instead, the attendant ushered me into a spot, checked out the car, had me fill out a very brief form and sent me on my way. I don't know (as I've never damaged a Rental before) what happens next; however, I'm hopeful, given the renting experience, the follow up will be equally as smooth.
Staff were great - found us the best deal for our needs. Shuttle driver was very helpful - was right there to help with our bags. Really nice touch. The only thing is that the car return was difficult to get to in Palm Beach Airport - not AVIS's fault, but kinda tarnished an otherwise great rental experience.
Normally when I need to rent a vehicle, I go to a competitor of Avis. For a number of reasons, I chose Avis for my rental car needs this weekend. My experience was fantastic. The counter people were so friendly and helpful. The employee outside in the lot was wonderful. The car was clean. Everything went well. Thank you for a pleasurable experience.
I used to rent from another company, but for the past year, all I've used is Avis. The prices are better and I find the staff is nicer, too. My recent service in Bradenton, FL was no exception. Super friendly agent and upgraded me to an awesome Jeep. Loved it.
