My story; I recently rented a car for 2 days.
DO NOT RENT FROM PAYLESS SARASOTA!
I can't answer the person who answered me here.. So, Sir or whatever, I already did. Nothing happen yet. No money back, no apologies, nothing... Horrible service!!
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!
TODAY I AM CHARGED ON MY CREDIT CARD AN ADDITIONAL DAY OF RENT because they recorded my drop off at 3:24! And this is impossible since I was on the plane, had to be on the plane, with a 3:24 departure! This is an obvious fraudulent charge. An hour late the person on the phone at Sarasota-Bradenton tells me! AND the manager to correct this WON'T BE IN until Tuesday!
0 STAR!!! WORST RENTAL CAR EVER!!! Charge you for extras days you NEVER rented!.Please read review before you take your choice to rent a car or anything else. Save your money. DON'T RENT FROM PAYLESS.
Reserved car through Expedia, get to Srq to pick it up and was greeted by a hand scrawled sign that said closed. Fortunately another rental company had an employee on duty and I was able to get a car. Thanks for nothing, Payless.
new car nice and clean easy access to car and easy drop off and great rates counter help was friendly and helpful i would say RENT FROM PAYLESS
Reserved compact. Got there, none available. Only available is SUV for $10 more per day. Would not give SUV for same price as reservations.
No attendant in the lot. A lovely African-American woman behind the Payless counter, serving another customer, tells me and another renter to drop keys in the box. My drop off is 3 PM. I got there around 2:20 with my flight on Delta to NYC at 3:24.
Drop off - I park the car back in the space from where I got it. Full tank of gas.
