Don't bother us...we don't need you! This is the attitude expressed by the three agents at the counter, three 'contract staff' under the tarp and a less than cheerful but arguably agreeable parking lot guy from Budget Rent a Car Sarasota, FL Intl Airport at 11 AM, July 10, 2016.
These guys were great and fast, no hassle and best rate Through COSTCO.
I've rented vehicles from Budget and always greeted with smiles, rain or shine! Their Staff are extremely couteous and make the renting process simple! Thank You.
Rude doesn't begin to describe them, the only other customer who arrived after me was insulted and spoken to like he was a ten-year-old by the female agent. Oh, and after he said 'forget this, I'm renting from someone else'and walked away, she began cursing him right in front of me. Limited on keystrokes so I'll end with, RUDE, HORRIBLE, ENTITLED ATTITUDE; POOR, MEAN, OBNOXIOUS SERVICE; UNACCOUNTABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE!!! DON"T GO HERE!!!! NO EXCUSE and no wonder they were slow!
There is a lady who works outside checking in cars called Annie. She is a superstar. This lady helped me with my dog crate and baggage when there was no one available. Such a kind person to offer help without being asked. She is awesome and this location should be honored to have her as an employee.
Reserving the car online was fast and easy. The staff at the airport were very helpful and the car was as promised. Dropping the car off was super easy with check-in and receipt done in the drop-off lot. There was no extra charge for the second spouse to drive the car (in contrast to another company that wanted to charge so much for the spouse driver that one of us did all the driving for that whole vacation). We will definitely use Budget again.
Next review will be on my Travel Agent's website. Mgr can check log for rental to contact me if you like--they were rude to me and I was sent to lot without keys and then told I had to go inside to get them myself. WOW--NO!
