Won't be renting from here again. When we rented the car online no where did it say there was a $250 deposit to rent the vehicle with debit card or $400 deposit if you do it with cash. Then one of the employees told my mom that the tire sensor was broken and she didn't have to worry about the tire but once we came back to our car after disney the tire was flat. Also online it said unlimited mileage but they still charged my mom 25 cents per mile that She went over 100 miles. Rented the car for only one day and paid way too much, got scammed and screwed over.
I only wish I could give a zero-star review. I booked an unlimited miles weekend rental through Kayak/Priceline and bought rental coverage through Kayak. When I got to the counter, the very rude rental agent informed me that the rental had 100 miles a day included, anything over would be charged at $.25/mile. They also wouldntrent to me with the full coverage rental policy from Kayak. They needed the insurance policy for the car I don't own, or else I had to buy their coverage, which was more expensive than the rental.
Wouldn't rent from them again unless staying right in St Pete. We had a family tragedy we were dealing with and traveling up to 100 miles away. The car shook like it was going to fall apart. The power steering felt like it was messed up and the transmission in reverse made a grinding noise. If they were a chain we may have been able to exchange it. Instead we were left to stress the car breaking down on top of everything else. We called twice and got no answer. Their website was also down. When I told them upon returning the car the response was " yeah if the phone lines are down so is the internet". Then after she drove it to the back she came in and said "yeah it really shakes". Then proceeded to tell me I owed another 45.00 for the extra day. No I'm sorry or let me give you a discount or anything. Their prices are not competitive anyways. I'll be sticking with chains from now on.
I will not be renting from you then.. I am Local but paying with a credit card not a debit card. Local good people who need a car are always getting screwed. I rent from hertz and dollar with my credit card and never have a return ticket ..I have not had a problem with them.
